You're closed Saturdays? Why?
Yes, we are closed Saturdays for religious reasons. It also allows our staff to have a treasured day with their families. We understand Saturdays are a popular shopping day, but have found Sundays to often be even more convenient for our customers. We thank you for understanding the personal convictions of our ownership, and we look forward to serving you other days.
Do I need an appointment to visit your store?
We strongly encourage you to make an appointment before you come if you're looking for wedding gowns or bridesmaids dresses. We do welcome walk-ins and will do our best to assist you so long as we have a bridal suite and consultant available. However, the only way to guarantee availability is to schedule an appointment, especially on a Sunday. Appointments are never needed for prom or pageant. We also suggest an appointment if you'd like to set up a tuxedo registry for a bridal party.
do you carry mothers dresses?
We do not carry traditional mothers dresses. Some moms purchase from our evening gown selection, or our bridesmaids collections. We suggest reviewing the lines we carry, found under the Wedding Dresses or Prom & Pageant tabs. If you see something you like, we’d be happy to get pricing and availability information for you. Please be aware that all bridesmaids styles must be special ordered and require a minimum of 2-4 months to arrive.
What do I need to bring with me to my bridal appointment?
You will not need to bring much with you for your appointment, as we provide most necessities. Underwear are a must to maintain sanitary standards. If you have a favorite strapless bra, you're welcome to bring it. However smaller cup sizes often don't need support other than what our dresses contain. We also provide long line bras foruse in trying on, which are especially necessary for larger cup sizes. It's a good idea to bring shoes you may plan on wearing, as we only stock a limited variety of try-on shoes. We have all the accessories you will need to complete your look. We encourage you to bring any photos of gowns you like to share with your consultant. Most importantly, bring an open mind & excitement! We can't wait to help you find your dress!
How many people should I bring to my appointment?
We have seating for up to 4 guests in each of our bridal areas. However, we typically suggest bringing one or two of the people closest to you. We've found that brides often get overwhelmed if there are too many opinions. We will do our best to accommodate additional guests. Just remember, you can always bring your loved ones to see your dress after you've found it!
Can I bring children with me to my appointment?
As a general rule of thumb, we discourage bringing children under the age of ten. They often do not have the ability to sit quietly for the length of a bridal appointment, which can keep your other guests from being able to enjoy your moment with you. If you are unable to find childcare and do decide to bring a little one, we simply ask that you also bring a responsible adult to care for them. In order to keep the child safe and accident- free, we ask that they remain seated or in the lap of an adult during the appointment.
What price range are the gowns you offer in?
Our special order wedding gowns range from $800-$3500. We also have sample sale gowns up to 50% off. Be sure to mention it when booking your appointment if you wish to look at sample sale dresses. Our prom, pageant, and evening gowns are typically in the $300-800 range. However, we also have a selection of sale gowns starting at $49. Our bridesmaids range from $160-350.
Do you offer alterations?
Most dresses need some type of alterations. In order to have the space to carry a larger inventory, we do not have a seamstress in house. Our trained staff will recommend an excellent local seamstress who will take care of all your alteration needs.
