YOU'RE CLOSED SATURDAYS? WHY?

Yes, we are closed Saturdays for religious reasons. It also allows our staff to have a treasured day with their families. We understand Saturdays are a popular shopping day, but have found Sundays to often be even more convenient for our customers. We thank you for understanding the personal convictions of our ownership, and we look forward to serving you other days.

WHAT PRICE RANGE ARE THE GOWNS YOU OFFER IN?

Our wedding gown price points can be seen by clicking on Dresses > Wedding Dresses in the main menu. Each store has a slightly different offering of gowns & price points. Our prom, pageant, and evening gowns are typically in the $300-800 range. We always have a selection of discontinued & discounted wedding and prom dresses in store that can be purchased right off the rack. Contact each specific locations if you’re interested in finding out more about those dresses.

MY WEDDING GOWN BUDGET IS $1,200 OR UNDER. DO YOU HAVE ANY OPTIONS FOR ME?

A special request bridal appointment could be a great option for you! This is the perfect appointment type for budgets below our normal range of special order price points, which start at $1100-1400, depending on location. Special Request appointments last 60 minutes and primarily focus on sample dresses we have in our discounted "Love at First Sight" collection, which can all be taken home the same day. These gowns offer excellent savings on designer dresses. Pricing is constantly changing based on current inventory, but typically starts around $800. WHAT SIZE DRESSES DO YOU STOCK?

We typically stock wedding gowns in bridal size 8-28. We carry prom & pageant from a 000 to a 28. Selection may vary based upon recent sales and dress arrivals, but we do try to keep a wide range of sizes available at all times. Current styles can be special ordered in any size the designer has available. 

DO YOU CARRY MOTHERS DRESSES?

We carry mothers dresses in our Chattanooga store and online only. Our Portland and Bangor stores do not carry mothers dresses, but do have evening gowns if you’re looking for a more black tie style.

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT YOUR STORES?

To ensure the best possible experience, we do strongly encourage appointments when looking for a wedding gown. The Grayce experience means we have a dedicated stylist and private suite for you to enjoy, so we like to ensure we can give you that! We will absolutely accommodate walk-ins whenever possible, as long as we have a bridal suite and stylist available. Due to the busy nature of Sundays, walk-in appointments are often not available, so we would definitely suggest scheduling ahead of time to visit on a Sunday.

We would also encourage appointments for menswear or gown viewings.

Appointments are not necessary for formal or mothers shopping.

HOW MANY PEOPLE SHOULD I BRING TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

We have seating for up to 4 guests in each of our bridal suites. However, we typically suggest bringing one or two of the people closest to you. We've found that brides often get overwhelmed if there are too many opinions. We will always do our best to accommodate additional guests. Just remember, you can always bring your loved ones to see your dress after you've found it or to your gown viewing appointment!

CAN I BRING CHILDREN WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

As a general rule of thumb, we discourage bringing children under the age of ten. They often do not have the ability to sit quietly for the length of a bridal appointment, which can keep your other guests from being able to enjoy your moment with you. If you are unable to find childcare and do decide to bring a little one, we simply ask that you also bring a responsible adult to care for them. In order to keep the child safe and accident- free, we ask that they remain seated or in the lap of an adult during the appointment.

DO YOU OFFER ALTERATIONS?

Currently, our Bangor store does have an in-house seamstress that works on a first come, first served basis. Our other stores do not currently have in house seamstresses. All customers will be sent an email following their purchase with a list of recommend seamstresses who will take care of all your alteration needs.
